One of the richest data that you can acquire from sensors are images. From a single image, we can identify the dimensions, colour, texture etc of a workpiece. The capability to manipulate images and infer information form them is therefore a valuable skill in automation and robotics, this capability is called image processing.

How is this different?

This is an industry-focused image processing course such that context will be given on how it can be used in the industry. In order to be effective in image processing techniques, it is important that participants is acquainted with contextual understanding of how the image processing methods work.

This course gives a unique blend of being both analytical and practical.
