Design Thinking Primer
What Is Design Thinking?
Design Thinking is a methodology that provides a solution-based approach to solving problems. The five stages of Design Thinking are as follows – Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. Understanding these five stages will empower anyone to apply the Design Thinking methodology to solve complex problems that occur around us.
This one-day course is aimed at absolute beginners to Design Thinking. With a focus on hands-on experiential learning, participants will go through all five stages of the Design Thinking process through the use of innovative physical and digital prototyping tools used in the design of games.
PMETs including engineers, technicians, programmer who are absolute beginners to design. Experience with games is optional.
*Participants are recommended to bring a tablet device of their own with the mobile application – Bloxels Builder installed.

The Design Thinking approach brings together what is desirable from a human point of view with what is technologically feasible and economically viable. It also allows people who aren’t trained as designers to use creative tools to address a vast range of challenges.
