As the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies increases globally, demand for Robotics & Automation talent will continue to grow. Robotics Automation Centre of Excellence (RACE), an independent training academy powered by PBA Robotics, offers the 6-month SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme – Company Training (SCT) for R&A, a training programme that equips you with skills to be future-ready for a career in Robotics & Automation.

Created for Singapore Citizens and PRs, SCT is a full-time training programme conducted in a modular format. The course fees have been heavily subsidised and trainees will receive a monthly allowance of $1,500. Trainees will also receive career advisory and employment assistance in their search for relevant jobs that will utilise their newly acquired skills.

Why join RACE’s SCT programme?

You will go through 6 months of vocational training in Robotics & Automation, and receive a monthly training allowance of S$1,500. Training costs $500 after subsidy, payable in SkillsFuture Credit.

RPA & Software

Gain insights in Software Automation and programming skills, thus preparing trainees for a fulfilling career as an RPA associate or automation software engineer


  • Core Programming Fundamentals: Learn the foundations of programming in python and C++
  • Data Visualisation and Foundation Machine Learning: Learn to use Excel as well as Python scripting for data visualisation and data analytics
  • Foundation VB.NET / VBA: Build up your capability in VB.NET / VBA to prepare for RPA
  • Robotic Process Automation: Learn to automate tasks by integrating different applications using the UiPath Studio & Orchestrator — UiPath Associate Certification
  • Workplace critical core skills: Learn to navigate the work environment, work well with others, perform well and achieve goals to complement technical skills
